Cowalfest offers a 10-day festival during October. This annual Walking and Outdoors Festival is one of the largest and most varied walking festivals in Scotland. More than 60 walks will be led by expert and knowledgeable walk leaders. It takes place in the beautifully scenic Cowal Peninsula. Situated between Loch Fyne and the Firth of Clyde in the west Scotland. This “hidden gem of Argyll” – where an abundance of wildlife, scenery, and heritage to be found are less than thirty miles from Glasgow.
Budapest will become the region’s contemporary art capital again between October 13-16. The Art Market Budapest is welcoming its returning and newly arriving exhibitors and visitors at Millenáris, Budapest.
art-market-budapestArt Market Budapest will be presenting nearly 100 exhibitors from over 20 countries. The fair’s sixth edition in 2016 features thousands of artworks by over 500 artists on a 6,000 square meter large exhibition space at one of the most amazing fair locations in Europe.

Elevate is an alternative and electronic annual music festival. Cutting edge and exciting artists from a diverse range of styles make the festival unique in its lineup and programming.
elevate-festivalPriding itself on being a festival of art and political discourse as well as music, this year’s edition focuses on the We Are Europe initiative, a collaboration between festivals across the continent to share culture, innovation, and creativeness. As is tradition, there will be workshops, panels, discussions and film screenings by day, and music and parties by night. Therefore all the discourse and film program of the festival is free of charge.

Today, 10 years later, Swn festival has grown into a four-day event, with 200 artists performing on different kinds of venues, combining other cultural delights – DJs, exhibitions, film screenings, quizzes, Music Industry sessions, outdoor performances and more. What you can expect is an eclectic mix of music, art, and film pervading the city’s bars, clubs, theaters, public spaces and street corners.


Celebrating 59 editions, DOK Leipzig is a massively industry connected festival. It provides networking opportunities for filmmakers, producers, and international industry professionals as well as financing and co-production opportunities for new film ideas. The truth is that around 1700 accredited representatives from the national and international film industry will be attending a festival.

Virtual reality (VR)—a concept that has been talked about for decades is fast becoming a reality itself. But despite the excitement, many VR devices aren’t widely owned. A very little is known about the audience that will grow into the first wave of VR content consumers.

Nielsen surveyed more than 8,000 consumers aged 18–54, dividing those interested in VR into two categories: PaVRs (pronounced “pavers”), who make up roughly 24% of the US population between 18 and 54, say it’s “likely that they will use or even possibly purchase VR technology in the next year”, while ConVRts (“converts”), who represent around 20% of US 18–54 population, “aren’t the most likely to try VR on their own, [but] exposure to even just a little information about the technology and applications boosts their interest levels”. Air Guitar World Championship
One of the first things you should knew about Oulu in Finland it is that it hosts the Air Guitar World Championships. Amsterdam Dance Event
The ADE Festival features 300 events and 2,000 DJ’s over five days in 80 clubs and venues. This event make Amsterdam one of the busiest and most inspiring clubbing cities in the world. This festival is organized by The Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation. It worth noted that it consists out of three platforms: Festival, Playground and Conference.

The Waves Vienna
The Waves Vienna Festival is an annual music festival and conference in Austria. Altitude Festival

Founded in 1987, Vilnius Jazz is the oldest annual jazz festival held in Vilnius ( Lithuania ). This event provides a broad perspective on contemporary trends in jazz from all over the world. Over the years the festival has earned a reputation of a radical avant-garde festival. Due to 20 years tradition this festival still standing and has a very high reputation for attracting performers of the highest caliber on the international jazz scene, although some still maintain that Kaunas jazz festival is better.
