Live Music Festival started off promoting hip – hop, r’n’b and pop. Yet in the following years, more and more bands cater to the tastes of rock fans. The festival hosted the greatest stars of both genres.
It was the only event to co-featureÂRihanna and Lily Allen, Missy Elliot and Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers with 50 Cent or MuseÂ sharing the stage withÂThe Chemical Brothers,ÂInterpolÂ andÂKanye West, EditorsÂ performing alongÂQ-TipÂ orÂWhite LiesÂ andÂKid Cudi.Â It was Live Music Festival that witnessedÂJay-Z, NAS, Rihanna, Missy Elliot, Timbaland, 30 Seconds To Mars, Panic At The Disco, Kaiser Chiefs, Lily AllenÂ and more performing in Poland for the first time. In 2013, the headliners included Florence and the MachineÂ and Franz Ferdinand.
The first event under the banner of Live Music Festival took place in 2006 on the areas of WisĆa football club, others were staged on the airfield â Aviation Museum. In 2008, 20,000 people watched the concerts, with 30,000 in 2009 40,000 in 2010, 35,000 in 2011, 30,000 in 2012, and over 40,000 in 2013.
In 2012, the festival featuredÂThe Killers, Placebo, Snoop Dogg,ÂThe Roots,ÂAzari & III, Mystery Jets, Spector. For the first time, it was inaugurated with a club Warm-Up Show by The Killers and inaugurated with all weekend Â in Â Pauza – the official festival club.Â All weekend long, we organized street art workshops, VJ-ing workshops and upcycling workshops. Festival goers could eat a yummy brunch from LoveKrove and Galeria Radar, watch best Polish artists (Street Fighters), create a mural painting, watch a battle of designers by tablets (Digital Fighters). On festival days, cinema screenings were available in Pauza, and late in the night, after the concerts, we were inviting for the official afterparties with Feadz, Mickey Moonlight and best of Polish DJs.
Live Music Festival also features many activities and amenities:
