The great lined up, with some great name performers from the United States, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, Holland and West Africa amongst just some of the top name players from across the globe on this year’s bill. Bray Jazz Festival is Ireland’s leading contemporary jazz and improvised music festival to be held within the Greater Dublin Area, each year. 2018 will be our 19th year. This year’s festival will feature a host of great shows, and currently confirmed are performers from the United States, UK, France, Norway, Sweden, Germany, West Africa, Iceland and Holland, together with some of the best known players in jazz and improvised music in Ireland. Alongside our main festival programme – at Mermaid Arts Centre, Bray Town Hall, we are delighted to also be hosting shows in the beautiful Parochial Hall on Novara Avenue for the very first time. There will also be lots happening at The Harbour Bar throughout the weekend, and a host of other shows on the Wicklow Wolf Jazz Trail at hotel, bar and restaurant venues across the town.
