From the 1st to the 3rd of June, the Amstelpark will be turned into Taste of Amsterdam for the ninth year! Over Whitsun weekend, chefs and restaurants, new faces and old will gather at the culinary festival of the year! Taste of Amsterdam offers you the chance to taste different dishes from Amsterdam’s best restaurants and chefs, all in one place! The size of the dishes has been designed keeping this in mind, making sure that you can taste lots of different things during your time at Taste of Amsterdam. WHAT WILL YOU FIND AT TASTE OF AMSTERDAM
There are various theatres on the festival terrain, in which visitors can experience special performances, but also have the opportunity to take part in different workshops, master classes and tastings. There is an excellent opportunity for product presentation and promotion to an interested audience. At the Taste Theatre, well-known chefs will present themselves and their cooking techniques to the public, in order to inspire and share their knowledge. At the Wine & Spirits Theatre, food and professionals alike can enjoy a presentation about the latest development s from the wine world and can taste various wine and food pairings.
At the Fine Food Exhibition exhibitors have the change to present their specialities and knowledge on the subject of fine food and ingredients thereof. Exhibitors have the opportunity to promote their products and the possibility to sell them to visitors for consumption at home. An ideal way to bring attention to a new or existing product!
FOODMARKET At the foodmarket, start-ups or companies that have chosen to remain small are given the chance to present themselves to the public with a market stall. They can sell their food or food-related products to the visitors of Taste of Amsterdam. It is entirely possible that next year they might make the switch to the Fine Food Exhibition..!
