It is a tradition for the Hamburg-based record label Warner Music Germany to present a very special treat for the guests of their Warner Music Night at Reeperbahn Festival – it will be the same this year: The British rock trio Muse will give the world’s first live performance of their new album “Simulation Theory” at 11:10 pm on Friday night, 21 September, and shake up the Docks!
Hamburg, 20 September 2018
With their spectacular shows, the British trio around bandleader Matt Bellamy is setting the bar high for rock concerts in the 21st century. Since its foundation in 1994, Muse’s (photo) career has skyrocketed: Their albums have taken the international charts by storm – their last album “Drones” from 2015, for example, made it to the top spots in 21 (!!) countries, believe it or not! Apart from two Grammys, the number of music awards the band has received on their way up has long ago reached unthinkable proportions.
Their eighth album “Simulation Theory”, to be released on 9 November, will no doubt continue the success story of Muse.
To catapult their album sales to such heights, Muse are not only meticulous about their studio work but also fine-tune their live shows to turn them into breathtaking experiences. Not without reason, their reputation as one of the best live bands precedes them. Their trailblazing “Drones World Tour” was screened in the cinemas in July this year.
The Warner Music Night has been part of the Reeperbahn Festival since its first edition in 2006.
