A big announcement for 2019: On the heels of the great success of the Trackathon at MTF in Stockholm, we’ve been invited to bring it to Europe’s biggest music trade fair: Musikmesse in Frankfurt at the beginning of April. #MTFLabs and the MTF Trackathon will both feature at Musikmesse and we’d love for you to join us there and be part of it all.

I was completely blown away by the calibre of the music created at the MTF Splice Trackathon in Stockholm and couldn’t wait to share it with you – so we’ve created an in-depth podcast featuring the winning tracks as well as interviews with the musicians and behind-the-scenes insights.

I’m joined by Splice.com’s Artist Marketing Manager Garrett Frierson to talk about how Splice partnered with MTF to help these exceptional upcoming artists raise money for Musicians Without Borders in a unique online charity EP, and I speak to UK producer Femme, who was our Woman in the Lead of the Trackathon at #MTFStockholm.

We’re working with Amuse.io to release the finished EP across all the major streaming channels – and one of the tracks has already been featured on the BBC World Service in a programme about Music Tech Fest on BBC Click, which has an estimated audience of over 90 million people.

Meanwhile, the MTF Podcast has really taken off with episodes getting a couple of thousand downloads a day. It’s already been featured in the Apple Podcast charts, and that’s a real reflection of the diverse, fascinating, and inspiring MTFers who’ve been featured so far.

Listen to the podcast here – and don’t forget to subscribe!
